Born from Prayer

The Alexa Foundation was born from prayer. Its name, Alexa, associated with the meaning defender or protector, reflects our calling to equip people with the wisdom, knowledge and practical skills to build stronger financial futures.

Rooted in Christian faith, we believe money is more than something to earn, spend or accumulate. It is something to steward with wisdom and purpose.

Through financial education, we seek to equip individuals, families and communities to make informed decisions, build confidence and create foundations that can impact generations.

Michelle founded The Alexa Foundation out of a deep conviction that financial wisdom is part of faithful stewardship. She leads the foundation's vision and personally designs and delivers our financial literacy programmes, drawing on her own journey and a heart to see families and communities walk in financial freedom and confidence.

Digital Operations

Tafadzwa keeps the foundation running smoothly behind the scenes. From managing the website and online services to making sure every enquiry reaches the right person, Tafadzwa ensures each visitor, volunteer and partner experiences the foundation at its best, accessible, welcoming and easy to connect with.
